Abstract

This is a film about the Blue Nile river in Ethiopia. It provides a view of the need and use of water in this part of Africa. The water of the Blue Nile and its many lakes and streams have several functions e.g. it is utilized for extensive irrigated farming and it is used for drinking water, food production and for washing. The second film : The remembrance by the ELA is just like The fountain of life a film about the ELA river and the ways in which it is used and utilized. The film also shows that the beneficiaries of the ELA are installing water points to distribute the water. Setting up these projects means that the beneficiaries will participate to complete the water points.
