| Abstract | This slide series describes the construction procedure of a ferrocement water tank. The various stages of constructing a water tank are shown. First of all there are the tools. The materials for ferrocement construction are the second important aspects for the construction of a ferrocement tank. The next phase is making a scale drawing. This will help in the accuracy during the cutting and bending of steel bars that are used in manufacturing the basic steel framework. The next phase is the construction stage. After this is completed the tank will be tested before paint can be applied. After successful testing, the final stage will be the drying of the ferrocement water tank. |
