Abstract

A slide series about the children of Ecuador. Most of these children suffer from malnutrition, they are lacking safe drinking water, proper sanitation, health care and educational services. FODERMA (Fund for the Development of Marginal Rural Areas) is trying to improve this situation by using a 'basic services' approach, which means supplying these youngsters with primary health care, clean water, nutrition and education.
