Abstract

Most papers focus on water management for irrigation with occasional references to the implications for drinking water. Out of the 14 papers two deal with drinking water and sanitation exclusively: one case study of water and sanitation services for the urban poor in Brazil and a paper on public-private partnerships in urban water and sewerage services in developing countries, with examples from Chile, Mexico, and Guinea.
