Part I of the document presents a synthesis of: trends in ESA policies, staffing and finance; intervention tools ESAs are using in WRM projects; promising approaches and projects in WRM; and examples of international coordination. Part II contains individual profiles of bilateral agencies from 17 countries (Australia, Austria, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UK and USA) and of 9 multilateral agencies (African Development Bank, Asian Development Bank, European Union, FAO, Inter-American Development Bank, UNDP, UNICEF, WMO and the World Bank). |
