The community construction contract system is explained in detail, including the procedures of awarding contracts; the impact and results are analyzed. The report continues to explain the success of the community construction contract system and indicates the problems encountered. The main aim of the report is to promote the sustainability and replicability of the community contract system not only in Sri Lanka, but also in other countries in the developing world.
