The article discusses how, following the privatisation of Britain's water service utilities, most of the resulting public companies are now actively involved in promoting their expertise in the international marketplace. Examples are discussed of how these organizations expect that their know-how could be used to meet the needs of water utilities and authorities throughout the world.
