| Abstract | The IDRC Global Handpump Network aims to undertake ongoing research and development in handpumps and other water delivery systems at the Research and Training Centre of the University of Malaya; to disseminate research results\AB to members of the network as well as to interested parties keen to mass-produce handpumps; to provide a forum for members to share experiences and problems encountered in designing, modifying, manufacturing, installing and\AB using the UNIMADE handpumps, so that solutions might be collectively addressed. Apart from describing the network, the paper also outlines network issues, the lessons to be learned, and future plans. |
