Apart from showing the tools they use, the video also mentions four pipe-lifting techniques: the hand-lifting technique, the pump stand lifting technique, the low shearlegs lifting technique, the very tall shearlegs lifting technique. There is also a short scene showing Peter Morgan of the Blair Research Institute in front of the one of the oldest pumps still in use in Zimbabwe, an early version of the Bush Pump designed by Tommy Murgatroyd which had been in service for at least 53 years. |
