Abstract

A video using footage from the UNDP/World Bank Water and Sanitation Program which shows how communities are making their own decisions and taking actions to improve their water supply and sanitation services. The film's main message being that communities have to be provided with the right information and planning tools to be able to reach a balanced decision themselves on what they want and on what they are willing to pay for, as well as learning how to sustain water and sanitation services once they have been implemented. [Note: poor sound quality at the start of the video]
