Abstract

This document aims to: a: identify the existing knowledge, attitudes and practices relating to water, sanitation and health hygiene, the reasons behind such practices among rural communities, to explore how to get into the community and get people in the community involved in problem solving and decision making processes; b. to develop step by step support for behaviour changes; c. to ensure participatory involvement from both the organization staff and people in the community; d. to develop participatory monitoring and evaluation in order to ensure that the work is on the right track and/or to make improvements/changes to the strategy of the work; and e. to gear up and groom the organization involved in such work together with people in the community.
