Abstract

This paper focuses on three key issues and strategies on integrated water resources management in the ASEAN region, namely, (1) national strategies, (2) river basin approach, and (3) water conservation and savings. The paper also provides a brief backdrop on the Global Water Partnership (GWP) and the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC), a summary of the guiding principles and strategies, and some possible cooperative actions with GWP.
