Describes the successful use of participatory techniques by WaterAid in Uganda. For water supply the following techniques were used: community mapping, seasonal calendar, story with a gap and responsibility chart.

Abstract

Describes the successful use of participatory techniques by WaterAid in Uganda. For water supply the following techniques were used: community mapping, seasonal calendar, story with a gap and responsibility chart. For sanitation the techniques were: three pile sorting (hygiene behaviour), sanitation ladder, gender analysis, and school sanitation.
