Abstract

This video is an appeal to policy makers and development partners to invest more resources in the improvement of water supply, sanitation and hygiene in public primary schools. It highlights the sanitation and hygiene challenges facing primary school children in Kenya. Shot on locations in Machakos, Kajiado and Nairobi, it captures the grim realities of public primary schools in dire need of a strategic implementation plan and lends voice to a previous call to develop a national coordinated programme on school sanitation and hygiene.
