Abstract

Many school programs for water, sanitation and hygiene have organized special children’s groups. There are many names for these such as school health clubs, health scouts or hygiene rangers, or special hygiene sub-groups in children’s parliaments and school councils. This paper discusses some of the benefits and risks of these school groups. [authors abstract]
