| Abstract | On 27 and 28 July 2010, UNICEF hosted a Technical Task Force meeting of the WHO/UNICEF Joint Monitoring Programme for Water Supply and Sanitation (JMP) in New York City. Eleven international technical experts joined two external observers and the JMP team members from UNICEF and WHO, to discuss a number of technical issues that relate to monitoring sanitation and to methods for estimating progress towards the MDG target for drinking-water and sanitation.
