Abstract

- identifier de façon précise les outils de gestion mis en place par le PAR au niveau communal et au niveau villageois;
- de connaître la situation exacte de l’utilisation de ces outils par chaque structure par village;
- de connaître les difficultés liées au fonctionnement de chaque structure par village;

------------------------------------

The programme entitled « Water and sanitation for sustainable human development in the local districts of Mansila and Tankougounadié in Burkina Faso » allowed the assessment of municipal mechanisms for the management of hand pumps and the proposition of dynamic actions to be undertaken by local districts. This study is part of that programme.
It aims to:
- Identify management tools implemented through the national WASH reform plan at local level (districts and villages);
- Determine the actual use of these tools by the local authorities;
- Identify the challenges and difficulties encountered by local authorities;
- Establish actions and modalities for the local authorities to optimize these tools.
The programme was financed by the European Union and conducted by French NGO Eau-Vive.
