Abstract

For the last two years, agricultural producers in Colorado have been faced with severe drought conditions, resulting in significant economic losses. The drought has led to widespread crop failures, damaged rangelands, and drastically reduced crop yields and livestock productivity. The financial impacts caused by the drought will be felt by agricultural producers for years to come and may threaten the long-term economic viability of some agricultural operations.
