Abstract

This report presents the findings from a study of district-wide approaches to implementing rural water supply and sanitation activities, known as PEC Zonal, in the One Million Initiative (OMI). The study aimed to distil lessons relevant to sustainable service delivery in rural water supply, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) to inform the revision of the Rural Water Supply Implementation Manual (MIPAR) and the Direcção Nacional de Águas's(DNA) Annual Implementation Plan (PIA).
