Rintu Shaha, owner of a sweets shop in Sahapur Bazaar

Rintu Shaha owns the sweets shop next to the walkway to the latrine, and by circumstance he has become an advocate for the project. The latrine is situated behind another building and it can be hard to see if coming from the East. "Newcomers to the market do not know where it is. They often come up to me after seeing the sign next to my shop. I am proud to invite them to use the latrine". Sometimes they return to taste his milk sweets. Rintu himself uses the latrine, but before would walk to the coconut trees by the pond to defecate.
