REACH is a global research programme to improve water security for over 2.5 million poor people in Africa and South Asia. Led by Oxford University, a global science-practitioner partnership will generate new evidence on water security to help guide investment and design policies and practices that benefit the poor. REACH is a seven-year initiative funded by the UK Government Department for International Development.

As a Research into Action partner, IRC will support the design and implementation of the programme’s communications strategy, supporting the uptake of the research findings and ensuring that they translate into positive policy and practice outcomes.
