Sanitation promotion in rural India

"Insights" is a Knowledge Series co-designed by IRC and partners that launches on September 23rd, in New Delhi, India. The first dialogue is on Sanitation Promotion and Behavioural Science. Policy makers, researchers and social and market practitioners are invited to an expert panel discussion on a range of topics including:

• strategic behaviour change communication models
• innovation in behaviour change for sanitation
• understanding perceptions, barriers and motivators for improved sanitation behaviour in rural India

Experts from the India WASH Forum and BBC Media Action will start by presenting research conducted on behaviour change. This will be followed by presentations on behaviour change interventions conducted by the Reckitt Benckiser Group and the Centre of Gravity organisation.
