Shiny has been Programme Officer for IRC's India Country Programme. She supported programme implementation and led communications for India. She also supported the Bangladesh Country Programme. Her interests lie in working towards gender transformative change and sustainability. Shiny's prior experience has been in research on gender and equity, in informal economy and evaluations, and urban governance. In 2023 Shiny left IRC to do her Masters at the Institute for Social Studies in the Hague.
