Sanitation and resource mobilisation officer | IRC Ghana
Harriet Onita Botchway joined IRC in July 2022 as a sanitation and resource mobilisation officer. She has ten years of experience in urban and rural sanitation in Ghana. Her years of professional experience in the sector focused on environmental risk assessment and mitigations, WASH strategy development, sanitation financing, marketing, and partnership development.
She previously worked with Newmont Ghana Gold Ltd as a community relations officer, Accra Sewerage Improvement Project (by AfDB) as project environmental engineer and with UNICEF Ghana as WASH officer. At IRC, she will focus on implementing sanitation-related projects and support the team in resource mobilisation.
Harriet holds an MSc degree in Environmental Engineering from Newcastle University, BSc Degree in Environmental Science from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and a Diploma in Project Management.
