Jeremiah Achumware Atengdem joined IRC in January 2017 as a Water Expert in the IRC Ghana country office. Jeremiah has since 2011 worked on IRC projects with Community Water and Sanitation Agency in Ghana where he served as Regional Learning Facilitator for the Triple-S project (2011-2013) and Coordinator for the SMARTerWASH project (2013-2016) which ended in December 2016.
Jeremiah has over 10 years of extensive experience in project management, policy research, public policy analysis and advocacy, monitoring and evaluation, action research, local government system of Ghana, and sustainable development. In the last six years, he has led several action research studies on water service delivery approaches and coordinated the implementation of a new model for monitoring rural and small town water supply services in 131 districts in eight regions of Ghana.
Jeremiah holds a MA in Governance and Sustainable Development (University of Cape Coast, Ghana), and a BA in Integrated Development Studies (University for Development Studies, Ghana).
