Land invasions are dealt with by the Housing Institute INVA (Instituto de la Vivienda - INVA). Housing credits and construction material banks for female headed households, credits for construction materials, micro-enterprises and water supply are undertaken by UNICEF, which works together with the government organization SANAA and the communities in the peri-urban areas of Tegucigalpa.
