Abstract

There are a number of sources of information on the state of the provision of water and sanitation in Honduras. CONASA (2011) cites five different fonts with different coverage statistics. Although there are differences in the results, the trend of these data is more or less similar, with coverage ranging water about 85% and about 75% sanitation. The differences between the sources are due to the definitions of what is drinking water and improved sanitation, the years in which they did the studies and the statistical method.
